Art is not only my passion, but a way in which I’ve been able to assist others during difficult times. As a clinically trained Art Therapist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I use empathy, warmth, and compassion to help my clients find their courage, hope, and happiness. In addition, I utilize client-centered approaches and integrative models to ensure that my clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I have extensive experience in working with children and adolescents, specifically those with learning disabilities, developmental issues, and/or emotional disturbance. In addition to working in the school setting as an Educationally Related Mental Health Services Therapist (ERMHS) for Special Education; I am also a credentialed School Counselor. In the private practice setting, I have worked with young children through adults, working with the specific needs of individuals, families, couples, and groups. It is my hope and goal that each client experiences a personalized, safe, and comforting environment in which to share their life story and reach their full potential.
