Heather Lauderback is a licensed clinical social worker offering behavioral health services to adults. She treats a full list of issues; however, her specialties include anxiety, depression, domestic violence, divorce, gender identity, life transitions, mood disorders, panic disorder, self-esteem, stress, women’s issues, infidelity, sleep/insomnia, grief, and chronic illness. Heather received her Master of Social Work in 1993 from The Ohio State University. Heather became interested in behavioral health care early in her career as a way of addressing the stigma associated with mental health issues. As a social worker and advocate, she wanted to empower people to live full, rich lives by acquiring skills and techniques to do so. She believes people are not broken and mental health care is as essential as physical care. Fun fact about Heather – she loves dogs and is a pit bull rescuer. She’s also new to gardening, composting, and is on a quest for a zero-waste lifestyle. Her favorite quote is, “Don’t believe everything you think.”
