I have been a counselor for nearly a decade and obtained a Master of Education in Community Counseling from University of Missouri St. Louis. I sought certification in perinatal mental health because it is my passion to help individuals who are struggling with fertility challenges, mood changes in pregnancy, difficult delivery/labor, pregnancy loss, and postpartum changes. Psychological health is related to healthy levels of self-worth and I believe that every person has many ways they can find value in themselves. Practicing from a person-centered lens, I value the client's perspective and experience while understanding the importance of a therapeutic alliance. I provide a non-judgmental, authentic, and genuine approach to therapy. I have experience and training in areas such as:
