Hello! My name is Heather Penaflor, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I utilize a person-centered approach to therapy and strongly believe that healing and growth occur within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I have enormous compassion for people going through life’s challenges and transitions. I am a military veteran and understand the unique needs and challenges of military families. I have experience working with foster children and families as well as families who have experienced abuse and neglect. I also have extensive experience working with children, youth, and military families, but feel privileged to work with all those who are seeking support.
