Heather Agid, LMSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker who provides direct care to clients with diverse mental health needs via telehealth. Heather has experience working with various populations of all ages in different settings including outpatient, foster care, residential and within the community. Heather specializes in parenting, attachment work and trauma. She utilizes a variety of clinical skills and treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy components and Motivational Interviewing. She is trained and credentialed in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which is provided to clients with complex trauma histories and at-risk trauma symptoms. Furthermore, Heather utilizes a strengths-based approach to focus on the client's abilities by empowering them to make positive change. Heather's primary focus is to complete thorough assessments and collaborate on treatment goals to identify client's needs and wants in order to improve their quality of life and functioning.
