Hey there! I am Board Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 6 years of direct experience. I've worked with clients of all ages and across diverse backgrounds. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and dialectical-behavioral foundations with a holistic approach. I often use worksheets, journaling, and expressive art to help clients tap into their inner selves and find ways to relax in a busy, demanding world.

Most recently, I worked on a university campus, helping traditional and non-traditional students navigate their personal growth while dealing with the stressors of academics. Most of my clients were caregivers and worked full-time, all while taking college courses. Understandably, stress and anxiety became a concern. I've also worked with past clients dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, healthy boundaries, and adjustment to life changes.

My counseling style is warm and collaborative. I believe in letting the client lead the session. That doesn't mean I will leave you with no guidance or direction! In fact, it's the opposite. Instead of leading down a path that doesn't fit who you are, I approach counseling as a partnership. You tell us what race we're running and I'll help keep you focused on the finish line, providing helpful tools and encouragement along the way.
