Hello! Today is the day that you are going to start taking care of yourself! My name is Gianina, and I have been working in therapy for the past few years and I love what I do. I have worked in substance abuse, evaluations, and individual therapy. I utilize CBT and DBT modalities with training in EMDR. I am a solution/client-focused therapist. My goal is to help you feel better by helping you process your challenges while learning coping skills and practicing those skills. Here are some of my expectations for therapy for both of us: You will actively participate in each session (don’t worry, I will help you). I will also help to guide you to set goals, proactively check in with you, practice active listening; teach you new skills; and assign homework when applicable.
