Hello. My name is Ezra Stone, and I'm excited to be offering therapy on the Find A Therapist platform. I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in clinical social work in 2017, and have been working in community mental health for the last two years. Prior to that I worked for a domestic violence center for 8 years.

My approach to therapy is eclectic and client-centered. I will follow your lead as you explore issues in your life, and for clients who prefer a more directive approach, I have a wonderful array of exercises, worksheets, and tools to help you solve problems, develop insight, and build on your strengths.

I have training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Somatic Experiencing, two evidence-based modalities for helping you to process emotions and live your best life. CBT focuses on the relationships between our thoughts, feelings, and actions, and Somatic Experiencing is a powerful tool for processing stress and trauma through body awareness. I also have a degree in creative writing, and love to incorporate journaling and expressive arts into my counseling practice as well.
