About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), in the State of New York, with over 12 years of clinical experience in various treatment programs. I graduated in 2009 and hold a New York State license. I have worked with a broad and diverse population struggling with addictions, childhood sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, marital concerns, OCD, ADHD and LGBTQ+ concerns. I have assisted people to live happier and healthier lives.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I am committed to treating all people with love, compassion and respect. I don’t stigmatize clients with labels or categorizations. I use diverse approaches to structure treatment plans that are client specific, evidenced based and have high potential of success. Some of these approaches are; Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Rational-Emotive Therapy, Motivational-Interviewing, Client-Centered Therapy and family systems.
