I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan, and I have earned my National Certified Counselor (NCC) status through the National Board of Certified Counselors. I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University in 2017, and have since been working with clients with a variety of concerns.
I have experience working with depression and anxiety, trauma, and adjustment to life stressors. I employ a client-centered, strengths-based approach, incorporating skills from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, existentialism, and psychodynamic theory in order to meet each person’s therapy needs. My goal as a therapist is to assist clients in discovering and utilizing their strengths to implement positive change in their lives.
