It is just so much you are going through. You feel mentally drained at the end of your day – whether from work, play, or being with family. You are physically and emotionally hurting. You just don’t want to get out of bed, are not in the mood to eat, and cannot picture yourself being with family, friends, or going to work. You are tired of hiding your feelings – even from yourself. Memories of bad times keep coming to the surface (where you don’t want them). I help people who have experienced trauma, dove into the world of alcohol and substance abuse, and have received or might need to receive a mental health diagnosis. I focus on helping you obtain coping strategies to manage symptoms and heal. Together we explore coping strategies you find helpful and utilize a trust to work through your trauma. With therapy/counseling you can heal from your trauma and anxiety.
