My name is Erin and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked in mental health for over 10 years and have been licensed for over 5 years. I have worked in a variety of settings: children psychiatric inpatient, community mental health - child and adult, substance abuse treatment, and private practice - individual and intensive outpatient services. I enjoy working with motivated individuals who are dedicated to learning about themselves and to their journey of self improvement. A majority of my experience is working with young adults/adults going through life transitions related to changes in relationships, careers, financial status, etc. who are also managing diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and/or PTSD.

I believe you are the expert of your life and I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to challenge you to dig deeper into your desires and become more familiar with your triggers to create room to becoming your most authentic self. My goal is for you to gain back control of your thoughts, feelings, behaviors and gain confidence in your ability to manage and navigate your world independently. Counseling approaches I most often use are cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior (DBT), mindfulness, strengths based approach, solutions focused approach, motivational interviewing, and systematic family techniques.
