Being 100% Lebanese, my own family and cultural background is an extremely important part of who I am, and the lens that I carry. I was born in the United States, however, both my parents immigrated to the United States. I grew up in a culture different to the typical American household, which has helped me see the world in many different perspectives. No matter what your culture is, sexual orientation, religion -- I don't project my own view of the world, but instead, will embrace what matters to you, and empathize from your point of view.
