I work with teens and adults to overcome challenges that are impacting the ability to love a meaningful and fulfilled life. I have been licensed for six (6) years and have been working in mental health for over fifteen (15) years.

My therapeutic style is pretty eclectic and individualized. I have training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I pull from each of these theoretical frameworks to best fit the need(s) of my clients.

I have helped people learn to overcome things like. ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Divorce, Emotional Disturbance, Family Conflict, Learning Disabilities, Life Transitions, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Parenting, Peer Relationships, Pregnancy and Postpartum, Relationship Issues, School Issues, Self-Esteem, Self-Harming, Stress, and Women's Issues. I truly believe in meeting individuals where they are, and my interventions are guided by the client.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from Brewton-Parker College in 2003, where I was a member of the varsity soccer team. My husband and I married in 2004 and moved to North Carolina to be House Parents for children that had emotional and behavioral challenges. It was in this position that I discovered my passion for, and my ability to work with children and adolescents, leading to the completion of my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2008.
