Hi! I'm so glad that you are here. Therapy is an excellent tool for everyone to address various issues they face- trauma and their past, communication issues, relationship conflicts, life transitions, and identifying new life goals. I have been a social worker since 1998 and a therapist since 2019. I love working with adults facing these issues and mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Growing up in the military subculture, I have a strong clinical interest in the needs of our Veterans and their family members. I also work closely with addiction-related issues and the recovery community, and clients experiencing adoption-related matters. Most of the time, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and solution-focused brief therapy. I'm excited to see what we can work on together- therapy is a collaborative practice between the client and the therapist, working together to identify and work towards goals.
