All too often, we find ourselves a bit lost, in need of validation, reassurance, or direction. It is my professional belief that seeking therapy is an empowering first step and the relationship between an individual and their therapist is of the utmost importance. Through my work, I strive to connect with my clients on a human level as many of us experience self-doubt, anxiety, and difficulty processing what life is throwing at us. My approach to therapy is integrative, working to empower the client to discover his or her own strengths and to act as a facilitator in an individual's growth and clarity.
I specialize in the field of addiction but also have experience in; trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life-span issues, perinatal/postpartum issues and sexuality. I have completed training on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and have had sex therapy training.
By meeting an individual where they are in their life, their culture, their relationship, their spirituality, and their profession I tailor the therapeutic experience to be unique and genuine. Through my drive to advocate, I am committed to assisting an individual through their therapy in a safe, accepting, and confidential atmosphere.
