Congrats on taking the first step by joining Find A Therapist and seeking therapeutic services. Therapy can be a transformative process as one attempts to make the necessary changes to reach their optimal self. I hope to create an environment where you feel safe and comfortable enough to open up and share about some of the difficulties you’re currently experiencing. Therapy is most effective if it’s consistent. With this platform we can communicate in a variety of ways and you can choose the best form that works for you. A little about me, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I’ve obtained my master’s degree in Social Work from Barry University (2008). I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families with mild to severe mental health needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The individuals I’ve worked with come from all different backgrounds, orientations, professions, and stages in life. I am available to discuss some of the goals you would want to accomplish and to also talk about the techniques I will be using in my work with you. I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions to address a variety of issues which can include stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, and depression to name a few. Some of the therapies I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Solution Focused, Trauma Informed, and Mindfulness. Please feel free to ask questions as we work on you better understanding some of the obstacles that are in your way and to help you to overcome them.
