Are you feeling stressed out or overwhelmed? Do you lack a strong support system, which may be contributing to feelings of loneliness and make coping with daily stressors even more difficult? By working with a licensed therapist, we have the ability to modify and change the dysfunctional patterns that oftentimes contribute to our overall pain and suffering. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my background includes extensive work in psychiatric inpatient, partial hospitalization and residential rehabilitation centers where I specialized in substance abuse/recovery and dual diagnosis clients. In addition, I have also worked in the outpatient and private practice setting, working with a wide range of client concerns, including: anxiety, depression and other mood related disorders, adjustment disorders, addiction, ADHD, grief and loss, codependency, women’s issues, and more. Special populations I have worked with include law enforcement and military personnel. I have used various treatment modalities with my clients, such as CBT, DBT, ACT and Solution Focused, and tailor each client’s treatment plan to meet their specific needs. Whether you are looking to gain healthy coping skills to help you better navigate daily challenges, identify and achieve specific goals, improve relationships with self and others, eliminate self-destructive behaviors and/or overcome past trauma, therapy is an amazing resource to assist you through the process.
