About

I am a licensed professional counselor in Louisiana with 7 years experience working as a therapist and have many other years working in various aspects of mental health care. I have utilized evidence based practices and have additional experience in juvenile mental health courts. I have worked with young kids, adolescents, adults of all ages and couples. Areas of concerns have been in adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, family/life changes, trauma, natural disasters , and relationship, family, and/or parenting issues.

My counseling style is open, friendly and interactive. I look for you to take the lead and guide me into your world. I want to meet you where you are. I believe in a counseling relationship that fosters respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and behavioral counseling. Your treatment plan is individualized to meet your needs, at all stages of the counseling relationship. I operate within respective counseling boundaries, and I don't want you to feel pressured, I want you to feel empowered to meet the goals you desire.
