About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Louisiana and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with four years of experience. I am also a US Navy Veteran. I received my Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Holy Cross located in New Orleans, LA.

My experience includes working with individuals, couples and families in many different settings (schools, addictions, juvenile offenders in detention centers, and both personal and professional experience with military personnel) as well as online and in my private practice, Essential Intentions Counseling, LLC.

My approach to therapy is client-centered, where I approach each client as an individual and aim to see behaviors through the clients' eyes, focusing on how they perceive and interpret their experiences. I am particularly drawn to existential therapy, solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.

My hope is that the safe space created in therapy cultivates a true sense of trust in the process in its entirety where my clients learn to embrace the beauty of becoming as they express and explore their own personal truths.
