Life is full of many challenges but none that we can't address together. We were not made as islands. We are here to help each other using the skills and experiences we have. Counseling is working together with someone who is outside your circle and who can give you a perspective you may not be able to get other places. As your counselor, I will help you to view your circumstances in a new light and to use the resilience and strength, you already possess, to deal with whatever you are currently facing. We will work as a team to figure out the best course of action and move forward with perseverance and optimism. Things can be better and, together, we can make that happen. It is that simple. My expertise lies in substance use, grief work and relationship issues. But you are the expert about your own life. I will use my skills to combine with your knowledge to move you to where you want to be. Integrity and empathy are very important to me and are woven throughout my work with clients.
