About
As a Korean-American, I understand the cultural demands and stressors that come with being born in the Asian culture. Further, I can relate in many ways the struggles of both BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) and LGBTQ+ individuals who are not able to live their genuine, authentic self due to societal, religious, and cultural values and messages. My Approach My main goal is to provide you with a safe and affirming space where you feel heard, believed in, and supported. I utilize many approaches to guide you through your journey, including looking through an attachment lens, family dynamics, developmental trauma, and cultural/religious lens, etc. In addition, I incorporate mind-body awareness, sensory, and mindfulness tools. Perhaps now is the time to reach out and get the support and healing you need. I will aim to create a warm, affirming, and safe environment for you, where you will feel heard and understood. Let’s work together on rediscovering the true authentic self that you had to hide for so long.
