I am a licensed professional counselor with certifications in advanced alcohol and drug counseling (CAADC) and trauma (CCTP-II). In addition to chemical dependency and trauma-related issues, I provide treatment services to clients with depression, anxiety and other mood-related issues. My counseling approach focuses on developing new, adaptive ways to regulate emotions and tolerate distress. I primarily utilize CBT, DBT and narrative therapy modalities. My practice is guided by the philosophy that dignity, respect and a healthy therapeutic alliance are the cornerstones of treatment.
