About
I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist committed to helping people learn how to live more fulfilling lives, with less struggle. I believe in the innate beauty and potential that is revealed when we embrace our full humanity, including the parts of us that we may feel are shameful and would rather not see. My work focuses on facilitating a profound internal paradigm shift that leads to less internal struggle with uncomfortable thoughts and emotions, and more clarity and motivation to take the actions that create a meaningful life, drawing from the latest evidence-based therapy approaches--get ready to practice some mindfulness exercises with me! -- Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) -- Additionally, I’m excited to offer a cutting-edge “psychedelic” therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), which is the use of ketamine as a complement to traditional talk-based psychotherapy. I deliver KAP in my practice in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical, which has a specialized medical team that determines eligibility for KAP, prescribes the ketamine lozenges, and supports us in monitoring outcomes. I’ve seen profound changes through this work, and it’s exciting to take part in the cultural shift toward more public curiosity, knowledge, and acceptance of psychedelics as deeply healing medicine. -- LGBTQueer -- Identifying as a queer man myself, I’m passionate about facilitating breakthroughs for LGBTQ+ folks. I’m am routinely sought out by other queer people because they know there’s just something special about receiving care from a queer-identified provider who can identify with many of their circumstances and struggles. I have also worked extensively with people in the tech world for the past several years, including a 3-year stint at the onsite health center at the Meta headquarters (formerly Facebook/Instagram) in the Silicon Valley, giving me a unique inside look at the unique stressors of today’s corporate workforce.
