Greetings,
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with an earned Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and Doctoral Degree in Educational Psychology. I’ve worked in a variety of professional settings to include: Law Enforcement, Academia, and Military environments. My education and work experience has developed within me a professional value system founded on a strong belief and adherence to the principles of Multiculturalism, Empathy, and Fairness!

A very unique characteristic about my counseling approach is “Purpose” derived from the firm belief in my counseling practice being my “Life’s Purpose” as oppose to a simple career, job, or temporary employment. I take the concerns of my clients very seriously; thereby, placing client concerns at the highest priority level… and to be treated with the utmost consideration and respect. In other words, “YOU ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO ME”. And my clients will never be made to feel as if their life’s challenges are unnoticed or insignificant!

My Mental Health motto simply states “I’m okay when you’re okay”. To help us get to the destination of being okay, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy are my preferred methods of treatment intervention. In conjunction with the aforementioned interventions, Active Listening, Clarification Questions, and Empathy will be frequently utilized counseling skills to help in identifying your concerns, aspirations, and strategies for helping you reach your immediate and long-term goals!
