Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with experience working in various communities, including child welfare and community mental health. I have collaborated with families and individuals to seek relief regarding a wide range of concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, history of trauma, and issues in significant relationships. I have also worked with a diverse population of individuals looking to improve decision making and communication skills, develop respectful and meaningful relationships, manage difficult emotions, and much more.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from Alabama A&M University with an undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I am also a wife and mother of three wonderful children. My approach to therapy is relaxed and client centered, as I believe you are the expert of your own life. I strive to create a safe space that is non-judgmental, accepting, and comfortable for you as we partner together to improve your quality of life. My primary methods of treatment are cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy, but my priority is to meet you where you are currently in your life as every individual’s circumstances are unique. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
