I am licensed psychologist, specializing in ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. I graduated from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles (an American Psychological Association-approved program) in 1988 having earned a doctorate (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology. I have been in practice for over 30 years. I served as the psychology director of the Institute for Developmental Medicine, Medical Center of Central Georgia (Macon, GA) for 9-1/2 years. I have been in independent practice since 2005. My approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral. I often employ humor and a casual down-to-earth communication style to engage my patients and to help them feel more at ease.

On a more personal note, I helped raise three children, two of whom have ADHD. So, I am quite familiar with the struggles of individuals with ADHD from a personal, as well as a clinical perspective.
