About

Hi! I'm Lindsay Heber. I am a licensed Psychologist and I am passionate about helping people reduce their emotional pain and suffering. I work collaboratively with each person and lead with compassion and an open mind. I believe a great way towards healing is by working holistically and addressing the mind, body and soul connection. My approach I tailor therapy to each individual's needs and have an eclectic approach to give you what you need and how you need it. I will often use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Spirituality, Mindfulness, and Trauma Focused. My focus I love working with people trying to work through trauma, experiencing anxiety, issues with self-esteem, depression, or looking to incorporate their spirituality into their healing. I work with adults and any gender identity. My communication style I provide a warm, caring, and compassionate space for the people I work with. I will help you see yourself and others in a loving way as well. I lead with my heart, openness and curiosity, never judgment or in a position of power over someone. This is a collaboration with 2 experts in the room and you are the most important expert on yourself. My journey to therapy My childhood was very challenging and I experienced my own depression and anxiety. This made me curious about why people do what they do as well as helping others feel less pain and suffering. I have experienced trauma as well but take everything that I've gone through as a way to make me a better person. It warms my heart when I can see other people grow and feel better. I love helping people see things from a different perspective that helps them to heal. My goals for you We will discuss what you want to get out of therapy and how you will know you've gotten there. We will check in from time to time to make sure we are on track and make adjustments as necessary.
