I am a Licensed Clinical Health Psychologist with advanced training in chronic disease management. I graduated with my doctoral degree in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Florida and completed my postdoctoral training at the VA Connecticut/Yale Healthcare System. I have specialized experience in multiple areas including: chronic pain and disability, depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, and mindfulness. I also have expertise in helping individuals who have a history of trauma who may be struggling with comorbid mental and medical health conditions. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Client-Centered Therapy. I have particular interest in working with adults who are experiencing functional limitations and stress due to medical health problems, and I am passionate about providing psychoeducation about the dynamic relationship between physical and emotional health. I am a trauma-informed therapist and strive to hold a safe, collaborative, and productive space all individuals seeking personal awareness and growth.
