About

Hi there, I'm Dyan! Hello, I'm Dyan Savery, PhD and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist based in San Francisco, California and working with clients statewide via Telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, depression, stress and other challenges using a person-centered approach. My approach My theoretical approach is based on person-centered which allows me to provide a place for individuals to feel comfortable and supported throughout the therapeutic process. I also use Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral therapies with clients to help with alleviation of symptoms and behaviors that are challenging. My focus I treat many populations but I find that my therapeutic approach fits well with young adults dealing with life transitions and pressures. This often shows up as anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues and depression. I work with the client to navigate these challenges and develop a path forward to feeling better. My communication style I have an open and warm communication style. This helps clients to feel relaxed and comfortable with me. My journey to therapy I decided to become a psychologist because I have always enjoyed helping people since I was a child. I have been naturally drawn to help individuals through difficult times and enjoy seeing people flourish and develop. My first session with you The first session is usually a time where a client will express what exactly is causing them stress or a challenge. We will discuss it and I will answer questions or provide some insight into what is going on in your life. We can then discuss how to move forward in the best possible way.
