My name is Dr. Bonnie Appleton. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I'm pleased you have taken time to learn about help that is available. That takes courage and you've already taken the first step. I hope you will find what you are looking for on your journey.

I have worked as a counselor for more than 25 years. I hold degrees in Education, School Counseling and Psychology. I utilize different approaches when counseling, Client Centered, Short term Solution Focused, Cognitive-Behavioral and Adlerian Theory. The approach depends on the presenting concern or issue.

I believe in and promote self care. When we make the time to take care of ourselves, by relaxing, reducing stress in our lives and spending time on what makes us feel better, we are in a better position to handle life on life's terms, and less likely to become overwhelmed when we are faced with difficult situations.
