About
Hello all! I am a licensed clinical psychologist. My degree is a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and my most recent post-doctoral training was completed at KUMed in Kansas City, KS. I enjoy working with all types of patients! For adults, I have experience with CBT, ACT, DBT and CPT modalities, but practice primarily from a CBT approach. I am extremely friendly and supportive to the LGBTQIA community, of all ages, and are among my favorite population to work with! Additionally, I work with teens and young adults up to age approximately 21. Please see my Teen Counseling profile for more info.
For parents, I specialize in working with you to provide behavioral interventions for children with disruptive behaviors, depression, eating/feeding disorders, toileting issues, and anxiety. I am a certified Parent Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT), visit PCIT.org for more info, and am also certified in Girls Night Out, which is a social skills group for youth, teens and young adult women with autism or social skill difficulty. I have worked explicitly in ADHD specific and Autism specific assessment clinics. I also completed my dissertation research on TCIT, which is a classroom adapted form of PCIT for students. I am also trained in TF-CBT, which is trauma focused modality for children.
