I am passionate about helping people work through difficult situations. I have a kind and welcoming demeanor that allows people to express their genuine feelings without fear of judgment. My passion is helping empower people to work through areas in which they are stuck and develop the skills that will help them navigate challenging situations. My specialty is working with children, adolescents, and their families. I am pretty familiar with the difficulties accompanying life-stage transitions, behavioral problems, parenting stress, and general mental health problems in children and adolescents. Additionally, I love working with married couples and helping them establish healthy marriages. I am also well versed in the research-based interventions that best treat the problems mentioned earlier. I tailor my approach to counseling to my clients’ needs. In addition to my work as a licensed marriage and family therapist, I am also a middle school counselor. Before this, I held several mental health counseling positions in community settings.
