I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in Georgia with more than 12 years of experience in providing mental health counseling. I have worked in private practice with individuals, couples and families with a variety of presenting issues like anxiety, depression, relationship and family issues, gender identity, trauma and life transitions. I approach the therapeutic relationship, and you, with utmost sensitivity and respect to diversity and multi/cross-cultural factors. You can expect to be treated with warmth, compassion and respect, no matter who you are and where you find yourself on your journey.
My therapy style draws influence from systems, emotion and client focused, mindfulness and attachment therapy. For clients who are spiritual or religious, I can offer the integration of those into the therapeutic work we are collaboratively engaging in. I am open to working more short-term on symptom relief and improved functioning or also long-term on deeper insight work and change of unhelpful life patterns.
