My goal, as your therapist, is to provide a safe confidential space and build a warm accepting relationship with you to help you feel empowered as you grow and overcome the difficulties and challenges of your life.

Hi! My name is Delinda (Dee Dee) Samp. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California. I have a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. I enjoy working with adults, teenagers and couples.

As a Psychotherapist, I have ten years of clinical experience helping people. I specialize in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, coping with relationship problems and physical disabilities. I also have a background in working with domestic violence and career counseling.

I believe that we all have a unique life path to live. Sometimes, because of obstacles, adversities and life circumstances, moving forward is hard. As your therapist, I will walk alongside you as a companion on your path. As we collaborate together, we will create strategies to move you towards your life goals and dreams.

As you can see, my treatment approach is very client-centered. I use Strength Based Therapy to help you recognize and develop your inner strengths and abilities. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness to help you develop greater self-awareness, build resilience and increase control over your life and relationships.
