Hi there, I’m Genevieve. Do you feel like a slave to your emotions? Do you feel like you are a witness to your life, rather than a participant? I assist people with taking control of their emotions, so they can be engaged and present in each moment of their lives. I love mixing a combination of mindfulness techniques, empathic counseling and trauma interventions to help people feel more in control. In addition, I specialize in medical trauma for patients, providers, and first responders. My experience as a medical social worker for close to a decade, gives me the unique skills to help you cope with and adjust to challenging diagnoses and medical treatment. Similarly, my firsthand experience as a provider in the hospital allows me to support other medical professionals (e.g. physicians, nurses, medical assistances, etc…) with the specific challenges that come with providing medicine in our current health care climate.
