About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Austin and Round Rock, Texas, and am a father of three incredible teens. I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, and bring an international and multicultural perspective to my practice.

My experience enables me to offer effective individualized counseling. I work from a relational cultural framework and provide a safe space for you to be known. I will be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

I completed my Masters’ Degree in Counseling at Texas State University and am currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas-San Antonio.

I believe that each of us has a deep-seated desire to know others and to be known by others. My goal is to create a safe space where we can explore, know, and understand our whole selves - even the parts that we are sometimes afraid to look at.

I am passionate about assisting others in removing shame, fear, loneliness, sadness, and guilt so that they manifest their authentic self. I have an affinity for those struggling with the integration of their spirituality and sexuality. Our time together is a safe place to explore religious abuse, sexuality, and trauma.

I work from a client-centered counseling perspective and approach the therapeutic relationship warmly and genuinely. I view most scenarios from a Relational Cultural Theory, Attachment, and Interpersonal Neurobiological perspective. I am open-minded, non-judgmental, and supportive. Our relationship is important to me because it sets the tone for our journey together creates a safe space for us to work together.
