I have several years of experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient, residential treatment, and substance use centers. I have continued to educate myself and meet people where they are in different areas of the mental health field. I have a true passion for helping others and offering support to those who need it the most. In private practice I have enjoyed working with adolescents, adults, and families, helping them overcome obstacles. What is your approach to therapy? I support you toward achieving your goals with client-centered and solution-focused techniques. I am open to helping all, especially those truly invested in their own healing. I utilize an integrated and realistic approach with talk therapy and CBT techniques as needed. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? I am straightforward, open-minded, and realistic. I have found that by being genuinely me, it invites open and honest conversation, which allow real connections to take place, with true emotions emerging. Clients can leave a session feeling validated, heard, accepted and take with them suggestions towards solutions that are practical and useful.
