Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Georgia with over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults both within and outside of the educational setting. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, stress management, depression, anger management, self-esteem, body image concerns, relationship issues, ADHD, intellectual and emotional disorders, and college and career development. I also have experience working with adult clients in an outpatient opioid addiction treatment facility. Additionally, I have an extensive background in working with people of color, those experiencing poverty, and clients from broken or dysfunctional homes.

I received both a master’s and specialist’s degree from the University of Georgia in Professional School Counseling where I also completed a certificate program in Marriage & Family Therapy. Currently, I am a fulltime doctoral student working on a PhD in Counseling Psychology in Nashville, TN. I would describe my counseling style as engaging, interactive, and multiculturally driven. My therapeutic approach combines client-centered therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and strength-based counseling techniques. My goal for all of my clients is for them to develop a growth mindset when facing life challenges and I have a passion for helping clients build strong, healthy interpersonal relationships. Each session will be tailored to meet your unique and specific goals as a part of your treatment plan.
