The people who call me for help are real people just like you. You exhaust yourself trying to cope with the stresses and strains of real life. You often feel overburdened, stressed out, and maybe even trapped. You try to stay positive about things, but your resources [emotional and financial] are likely stretched to the breaking point. Your relationships are struggling. It seems that the harder you try to make things work, the worse they seem to get. There's not enough time to do what needs done. Every moment you spend in therapy has to count.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Georgia and I specialize in helping people with relationships, life stress, and, of course, anxiety, depression, and addictive problems.
Questions about parenting? I'm a facilitator of the Parenting with Love and Logic curriculum. I have also spent time as a special education teacher specializing in behavior issues. If the IEP or 504 process has you overwhelmed, I'll be happy to talk with you about it.
