About
Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. My clinical practice first began in Clarksville, TN in 2015, working with kindergarten to 8th grade students and their families. For the past 3 years I have been working solely with trauma and sexual assault survivors in a certified sexual assault center. I have had the pleasure of working with clients with a variety concerns, age ranges, and cultural backgrounds. I have worked with clients who are currently experiencing depression, anxiety, intimate partner violence, abuse, domestic violence, trauma, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, suicidal thoughts/behaviors, self-harming behaviors, relationship issues, PTSD, confidence/self-esteem issues. parenting concerns, alcohol/drug addiction, and non-offending secondary victims of sexual abuse/assault.
My approach to psychotherapy is integrative, collaborative, and client-centered. I work together with my clients to create a personal treatment plan to best address your identified needs and goals. In the beginning sessions of therapy, we will work towards building rapport , incorporating healthy coping skills, and psychoeducation about presenting concern/needs.
Therapy is a courageous and amazing journey! If you are ready to take the first step, I am ready to walk with you on this journey to a healthier and brighter you!
