It takes a courageous person to seek out therapy in order to make a significant change in life. I want to help you on this journey.

My name is Courtney M. Hampton and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Georgia. I have a master’s degree in Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families – adolescents and adults suffering from depression/mood disorders, anxiety, trauma/abuse, addiction/substance use, family conflict, relationship issues, self-harming, suicidal ideations, et cetera. Additionally, I have also worked with clients relating to self-esteem/self-confidence, coping skills, life-transitions, and everyday issues.

I believe that you are the expert of your own life and I am here to guide and empower you in achieving your therapy goals. I would describe my style as warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. I am committed to helping change your mindset and come up with effective strategies to help resolve any challenges that may have become problematic in your life. My therapeutic approach is diverse, drawing upon an assortment of modalities to best serve client’s needs and goals. The modalities that I utilize include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative therapy, and Existential therapy.
