You have already been struggling with painful beliefs about yourself, your body, and your life. It can be overwhelming trying to find a therapist who is going to understand your pain, and to not feel judged by them, as you already experience that inside your head enough. You’ve seen the overwhelming amount of professional pages and are trying to find a place to land. I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #121821 serving the Greater Los Angeles and Ventura County areas. I received my Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I am trained in EMDR Therapy and have started the multi-year training intensive with Pacific Gestalt Institute. I have a background working in community mental health, as well as eating disorder treatment centers. I adore working with all ages yet find a special connection to teens and young adults moving through transitional life phases. I am second generation Afghan-American and welcome all cultural backgrounds in the safe holding space we will create together.
