I have been practicing counseling in a variety of settings for 20+ years now and I continue to find that life seems to bring each and every one of us a variety of challenges! Everyone can use a little help now and then when the waters become unclear and we need some help to navigate through them. I am a Faith-based therapist who has been practicing counseling a a variety of settings for 20+ years now! As your therapist, I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment to help you develop a strong sense of self and maintenance of meaningful relationships. While I particularly enjoy helping families and marriages forge strong bonds, create peace and cohesion in their ever-changing structure, I also love helping blended families, couples, or individuals through the struggles and transitions they may be facing. My goal is to help you find happiness, reach your potential, and create a bright future. I look forward to working with you to create the life and relationships you’re longing for. I am fully qualified to work with a host of mental health issues. I specialize in incorporating a family systems approach. I have worked for a couple of non-profit agencies and in private practice providing individual, couples, and family counseling. Further, my experience extends into counseling families' in foster care, working with DHS, Attorneys and other Community Services along with Psychiatric Hospitals within the community both in Tulsa County and Okmulgee County. I have also served as a School Counselor, for four years, working with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and special education teachers. Concurrently, I enjoy teaching courses for students at SWCU, as I serve as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor teaching classes on Ethics & Professional Counseling, Sociology, Counseling, Substance Abuse & Chemical Dependency, and Diversity in Counseling. Overall, I truly love helping my clients from all walks of life in my private practice!
