About
Therapy may seem very scary for parents and children alike. I do understand that feeling, and I want you to know that I open this therapeutic space without judgment. Therapy can be a place to laugh, cry, play, and have fun while processing their experiences. I enjoy being creative and I want each child to feel heard and valued as the person they are. I will incorporate play, art, games, crafts, and talking to support each child who comes into my virtual office. I believe the saying is true: "It takes a village to raise a child." Raising a child, as rewarding as it is, comes with many moments of happiness, sadness, stress, frustration, guilt, etc. Children experience these same feelings with learning to explore their feelings and the world around them. Each child is unique, and he/she has different needs. Parenting does not come with a manual; there are no guidelines. As a parent, you try your best to do what is best for your child, and it is normal to have support with children. I will be that person to help support your child and be a support for you. It takes a team approach to help your child reach their goals and be the best version he/she can be. Each day is a new experience. Each day is another chance to try something new whether big or small. Each day brings something different. Life is a journey. Each person has his/her own story to share, and I am very interested to know your child's story from their perspective. Navigating life can be difficult, and there are phases through life that presents with various challenges. I enjoy supporting others as they create their journey and add more chapters to life. As a clinician, I am honest, transparent, open-minded, and humorous. It is my role to meet people where they are in their journey. As a clinician, I enjoy getting to learn more about you! I am thankful for the opportunity to get to know who you are as a person, a friend, a sibling, a student, or a co-worker. I look forward to meeting both you and your child.
