Since 2009, I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas, holding a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I am a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) trained Psychotherapist by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. As a strengths-based clinician who utilizes multiple modalities, I practices techniques that foster active and reflective listening, validation, and empowerment as well as reframing negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
