I began my work as a professional counselor working with women in a domestic violence center. This led me to seek out further training and expertise in trauma therapies, including neurofeedback, and EMDR. I have worked with clients who have experienced traumas from war, relationships, and accidents. I also specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders. I work from a holistic (bio-psycho-social-spiritual) model of care and hold an attachment perspective as I help clients learn new ways to engage in relationships. In addition to being Board Certified in Telemental Health, I also am a faculty member and teach Master's level counselors in clinical mental health counseling. I have been a counselor for over 15 years and a counselor educator for 4 of those years. I also work from a strengths-based perspective to help clients make the desired changes they wish to make in life.
