Hello there, I'm Charlinda. With so much going on in today's climate, life can be HARD!! Have you encountered a traumatic experience that has held you hostage to the point, you just can't break free to move forward? And, despite your best efforts to push through all of it, you still end up feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and just plain "stuck". Let me be the first to tell you, it's okay to not be okay. I understand the stigma behind receiving therapy and I also understand that it takes courage and strength to reach out for help, which is why I am here. I believe that everyone has the potential for growth and should have access to quality mental health services. With over 20 years of experience, I am a culturally, competent counselor that offers therapy in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I help clients (including high-profile clients) identify and remove barriers to managing life stressors and address depression, anxiety, anger, unresolved emotional and abandonment issues, self-esteem/empowerment, grief/ loss, relationship/marital/family concerns, survivorship, caregiving, abuse/trauma, addiction, career/life transitions and more.
