Welcome! The most difficult step of therapy is reaching out, glad you’re here. My name is Chandra Smalley. I am an LCSW, University of Kansas alumna, with diverse experience and a passion for helping others. We learn and build strength during our struggles and through difficult times. I’m here to help you through yours.
I’ve worked in the mental health field for 15+ years in a variety of different roles with children, adolescents, adults and the aging population. This has afforded me the opportunity to gain the perspective and knowledge to better help others.
My life and treatment philosophy overlap, we determine how we change and grow, it’s often within our control and we don’t always realize it. I use a multitude of therapeutic modalities, most often a cognitive behavioral approach and my services are always Person-Centered.
I most usually work with people feeling depression, anxiety, loneliness, and trauma symptoms. Together we will work on strategies that allow you to address and overcome your difficulties and make meaningful connections.
