Hello!!! I am a licensed professional counselor licensed in Georgia with over 11 years of experience working as a mental health counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, self-esteem issues, ADHD, career challenges, substance use, co-occurring disorders and relationship issues. My counseling style is warm and interactive. My belief when it comes to interacting with anyone is to treat him/her with respect, to be compassionate, sensitive and to meet him/her where he/she is at. I don't believe in stigmatizing labels or judging others. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy and rational-emotive behavioral therapy. I will create your treatment plan to meet your specific needs. It takes courage for one to seek out counseling. Therefore, as your counselor, my role is to assist you with gaining insight, challenge your thoughts and negative beliefs that act as roadblocks for growth and to simply be the listening ear without judgment.
